This certificate is ideal for native or fluent Spanish speakers with strong English language skills. Students gain the skills to succeed as translators for translation agencies, newspapers, magazines, law firms, the financial industry and publishing companies.

This certificate concentrates on employment in legal and medical settings. Students will be exposed to a variety of settings such as: court interpreter, legal agencies, hospitals, clinics and any other health facilities. Covering consecutive and simultaneous interpretation and sight translation. (Six required courses)
