Marvels at The Met: Topics in 18th and 19th Century American Art (MARMET)
Be guided through the American Wing of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and peer institutions by knowledgeable art historian, Lois Stainman. Each class session focuses on one topic relating to American art in the 18th and 19th centuries using the extraordinary collection of paintings as a back drop, followed by ample time for questions and answers.
Mrs. Stainman brings the perspective of an expert with the warmth and enthusiasm of a true lover of art to her classes at Hunter. She provides context and makes appreciating the finer points accessible to all levels of lifelong students of art history.

College Choir (CHOIR)
The Hunter College Choir is a mixed chorus (SATB) of approximately 75-100 singers performing repertoire from all periods, both a cappella and with orchestra. The ensemble is open to members of the NY metropolitan area and all students, staff and faculty at Hunter College. An audition is required, though prior choral experience is not a prerequisite.
